A Man Most Worthy by Marcus Major

Dutton Book
ISBN: 0525946853

Contemporary Fiction

Rating: 4 Stars

Reviewed by: Shelia Goss

Marcus Major is back and in his third novel, A Man Most Worthy, he puts a
different twist on romance with the story of John Sebastian and Josephine
Flowers.

John has achieved financial success and although he has the model-type
beautiful girlfriend, there is still one thing missing from his life, a woman
who cares about him unconditionally - rich or poor. He once had that type of
love with Josephine, but something happened in their past that caused them to
go their separate ways.

Josephine is currently married to someone else and her husband does not have
her best interest at heart, but she is determined to make her marriage work at
all costs.

John and Josephine's paths cross and both are faced with dealing with the
passion that still exists between them.  Will John resign to the fact that
Josephine is now a married woman and move on? Is Josephine's marriage strong
enough to withstand the obstacles that Josephine is now faced with?

It's refreshing to see romance from a male perspective. A Man Most Worthy is
filled with twists and curves that will keep your interest peaked. In the end,
Major cunningly ties everything together.
