Tarynton Batiste and Drakkar Lomax have been in love since they were toddlers. Circumstances during college somehow change their tender feelings and alter the course of their future. An unplanned meeting years later reveals long repressed feelings in them both. Unsure of how to proceed Tarynton is apprehensive, while Drakkar is persistent in his pursuit. Tarynton isn't surprised by his determination because she's had first-hand experience with it. In spite of Tarynton's knowledge of who Drakkar was as a young adult is there a difference from who he may be as a man? So many years have passed making their breakup an undesirable topic for her. Nevertheless, as each day passes they learn more about one another leaving them to wonder what happened in college if their feelings are so strong?
Just as they begin to develop a new relationship, their love is put to the test. They both have to communicate and decide if their love is strong enough to stand the test this time. The two make it through the jealous rage of an ex, and the revelation of past deception. They stand united in order to reclaim the love they lost, the love they've rebuilt in the present, leaving them to make way for the future.
One Moment In Time is filled with romance, passion, intrigue, suspense and a load of drama. All in all it is another glimpse at Linda Hudson Smith's excellent work Mrs. Smith has brought us another great book delving into the struggle of true love. This book made me laugh, upset me and made me want to butt heads with that horrible ex. I thoroughly enjoying OMIT from beginning to end.
