Baby Mama Drama
Author:  Carl Weber
ISBN:  1-57566-908-0
Rating:  4+ Stars
Reviewer:  Angela Pride

For those who enjoy controversy and exposure to real life situations, you'll enjoy this novel.  "Baby Mama Drama," has enough drama for both you and your mama.

For those of us who have read Carl Weber's "Lookin For Luv" and "Married Men," you will be pleased to know that this newest title delivers a fabulously told realistic story that everyone should be able to identify with.  If you weren't a fan before, after this novel you will be.

Jasmine, the older sister and a postal worker, fashions herself in love with her drug dealer fiancé Derrick.  During the course of their relationship Jasmine endures being used and abused by not only her fiancé, but also his baby's mama and their child before she comes to her senses.  When she does, she finds the love of her life just around the corner.  All she has to be willing to do is accept it.  Problem is after leaving one relationship where she had to deal with the baby mama syndrome, Jasmine was reluctant to be drawn into another situation involving a man that had a child.

Younger sister Stephanie only wanted to have a good time with Malek.  What she got was a reputation for being loose and a baby.  A daughter that Malek a wanna-be-rap artist left her with just after the birth.  What's harrowing is that Stephanie has found someone, how loves and respects her in spite of her past mistakes.

Travis is her knight in shining armour, who wants to give her the world.  He loves her, the child he's fathered with her and wants to adopt the one he didn't.  After all they are a package.

Sounds great right.  Herein lies the problem.  Stephanie, regardless of what Malek has done or said in the past, returns and the sexual pull is till alive and stronger than ever.  Question is which pull is stronger.  Love or lust?
